TCM for menopause in Winterthur Töss
This page is for women in Winterthur and nearby experiencing changes around menopause, including hot flushes, night sweats, disrupted sleep, mood changes, or irregular periods during perimenopause.
Suddenly very heavy bleeding, bleeding after menopause, new pelvic pain, or symptoms that are difficult to explain should be medically assessed. Decisions about hormone therapy and related examinations belong with your gynaecologist.
The appointment covers when the symptoms began, sleep, digestion, medication, and any previous examinations or treatment. Mrs Zhang then uses pulse and tongue diagnosis to plan the session.
Depending on the findings, care may include acupuncture, moxibustion, or tuina massage. Herbal therapy is discussed separately and with attention to any hormonal or other medication you use.
Menopause is a transition rather than a single event, and symptoms can change over time. The TCM approach is reviewed as those priorities change and can be used alongside gynaecological care. Existing medical advice and prescribed treatment should continue unless the responsible clinician recommends a change.
For a stronger focus on night-time symptoms, see sleep. If regular periods are still the main concern, see menstrual complaints.
