TCM for digestive complaints in Winterthur Töss
This page is for people in Winterthur who are looking for a TCM clinic in Töss because of digestive complaints: fullness, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, an irritable bowel that a physician has already named, or a stomach that reacts to stress, shifts or certain foods. Some come after a work-up, others because the complaints remain without anyone being able to fix the next step.
Mrs Zhang does not replace gastroenterology. Blood in the stool, unwanted weight loss, swallowing trouble, persistent vomiting, or pain you yourself class as urgent belongs with a physician first. TCM can look at daily life and the complaints you already know. It cannot replace an endoscopy, a lab work-up or an ongoing medical therapy.
Jing Zhang is a TCM therapist, clinically active for more than 30 years, in Switzerland since 2017, recognized by EMR and ASCA, ZSR A100263. She asks about stool, appetite, cold or warmth in the abdomen, sleep, stress, and what you have already had checked. Then comes pulse and tongue diagnosis.
Acupuncture is often the core of the session. Moxa or a short tuina may be added if cold or tension show up in the findings. She discusses herbs only if they fit, and not as a replacement for a prescription you already have.
Nutrition has its own page in this clinic: TCM nutrition. That is not an off-the-shelf diet and not a substitute for medically prescribed food. Mrs Zhang can give notes in the conversation. She does not sell a ready-made nutrition programme here.
The clinic is open Wednesday and Friday, 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:30. A slot in the last hour before 18:30 is possible; a night-time emergency is not.
Digestion rarely changes after a single session. Some people notice after a few visits that the abdomen is quieter. Others need longer, or the lever sits with an open medical question, with shifts, or with what loads the day.
We do not promise a “repaired gut” or a move away from medication. Mrs Zhang accompanies. She does not make a gastroenterological diagnosis and does not replace endoscopy. If it looks as if a medical service should go first, she will say so.
Sleep and the abdomen often sit together. The same opening days and the same sequence are on sleep.
Available methods are acupuncture, tuina, cupping, moxa, diagnosis, herbs and notes on TCM nutrition. There is no fixed digestion package. What she uses follows the conversation and the diagnosis that day.
Please bring what you already know from your physician. Mrs Zhang does not work against an ongoing plan.
EMR and ASCA recognition is what many supplementary insurers require. Basic insurance generally does not pay for TCM from a therapist. Clarify the annual limit and deductible before you start. More on insurance and the EMR profile.
An acupuncture session is about CHF 132 to 156. The list stays on Pricing.
